Star of the current season of 90 Day Fiancé, Juliana revealed a shocking revelation to audiences during wedding planning with Michael. She revealed that she was once married before/ The news surprised viewers as the young bride opened up about her short-lived Brazilian marriage.
The new couple met while Michael was traveling around the world on business, immediately becoming in awe of the 21-year-old. The two met on a yacht while at a party in Croatia and even though there is a twenty-year age gap neither one of them seems to let it bother them. The two have been dating for over two years and even though the US government questioned if Juliana was an escort, she was eventually granted her K1 visa.
On December 8th all-new episode of TLC's 90 Day Fiancé, Michael and Juliana found a wedding planner to help with their small, albeit expensive, upcoming nuptials. During a sit-down interview, the couple was asked if this is each other’s first marriage; fans were prepared for Michael to say no as his ex-wife, Sarah, has been seen on almost every episode. However, when timid Juliana chimed in, fans' jaws hit the floor. Michael took the helm and describes his fiancé’s situation as an arranged marriage, but in the TLC confessionals, Juliana spills the tea behind her past nuptials, saying that while it wasn't quite an arranged marriage, she was pressured into the marriage at only 19-years-old. She was told by family that if she did not marry her ex-husband that God would not bless her family.
According to the Brazilian model, the wedding was small and none of her friends or family attended. The wedding ended with a lunch that her ex-husband complained was too expensive. According to the reality star, the marriage was not pleasant and she eventually got enough courage to file for divorce. Back in the meeting, Juliana also explained how the guest would be made up of only Michael’s family and three of her friends as she did not feel comfortable inviting her loved ones because she felt that her new, posh life would set them off. She implied to the cameras that her family would pressure her for financial help and she already felt bad about having elegant possessions now.
The day of planning gets a bit more complicated when in the evening, ex-wife to Michael, Sarah pops over and brings up a prenuptial agreement that would keep the children safe in an event of Michael’s passing or divorce from Juliana. Not fully understanding English, Juliana is left to feel uncomfortable and wait for Michael to explain it to her. Sarah also tried to extend an olive branch by offering to become ordained for the bid day to which Juliana tells viewers she does not want her in the wedding pictures. It seems that this small wedding has become a bit of a fiasco, but fans will have to keep watching to see if they will even make it to the alter.
