One artist imagines what Spider-Man's Quantum Realm time travel suit would've looked like in Avengers: Endgame. After suiting up for an unexpected battle with Thanos' Black Order members Cull Obsidian and Ebony Maw in Avengers: Infinity War, the web-slinging hero found himself off Earth, on Titan with Iron Man and Doctor Strange as they attempted to stop the Mad Titan. Unfortunately, despite their and the rest of MCU heroes' gallant efforts in hindering the villain from his nefarious plan to wipe out half of life in the universe, the alien was still able to accomplish his mission. This resulted in massive numbers of deaths across the galaxy, including Peter Parker alongside several Avengers allies.
By Endgame, the heroes were undermanned with only a handful heroes surviving the decimation. Most of them went on with their own personal missions. However, the emergence of Ant-Man from the Quantum Realm after five years sparked the idea for the time heist - go back in time to collect all six Infinity Stones and use them to bring back all those who perished from the snap. The Avengers re-assembled and together with their remaining allies, they successfully brought half of the universe's population back from the dead. It wasn't a walk in the park, however. It involved meticulous planning to even make time traveling possible, which involved special suits for the heroes used to travel in the Quantum Realm.
Only those who survived the events of Infinity War got to wear these specialized white nano-tech armor suits, and given Peter's fate in the movie, he's not one of them. However, digital artist Muhammad yusuf imagined what Spider-Man could've looked like in the Endgame time travel suit via an illustration and it looks very cool. Check it out below:
Spider-Man would've been useful during the whole time heist sequence. Chances are that he would be pooled with the New York team considering he's from Queens and it would've been fascinating for him to actually watch the Battle of New York. The thing is, his death in Infinity War is possibly the most important one in terms of the Endgame narrative since it motivated Tony to suit back up as Iron Man after giving up his armor for a quiet family life. While he was initially hesitant to attempt the time travel plan proposed to him by Captain America, Black Widow and Ant-Man, the idea that he could bring back his surrogate son haunted him. It was clear he was racked with guilt for Peter's death since coming clean about it were his first words to Steve after he came back to Earth, and it's safe to assume he was plagued by this feeling in the five-year time-jump even though he seemingly lived a quiet life with Pepper Potts and daughter Morgan. As Happy Hogan told the grieving Peter in Spider-Man: Far From Home, Tony wouldn't have decided to sacrifice himself in Endgame if he didn't know Spider-Man was back in the world, doing good as a superhero.
So, as cool as the idea is of Peter traveling back in time and potentially running around the Big Apple during the Battle of New York with this nifty-looking suit, his Infinity War death was integral in Tony's overall arc in Avengers: Endgame. In any case, just because he didn't get to travel in the Quantum Realm during the film doesn't mean that he will never get the chance to do so. The MCU is set to officially take a deep dive into the multiverse in Phase 4, so it's very possible the web-slinging hero will find himself donning a variation of the armor moving forward.
