Bravo Host Andy Cohen Tested Positive for Coronavirus

What What Happens Live host Andy Cohen has revealed that he tested positive for the coronavirus. The father of one said he is resting and trying to feel better and is urging people to stay home.

The coronavirus has been upgraded to a pandemic and everyone around the world will be getting used to a new normal thanks to governments shutting down and self-isolations. With the epicenter being Europe, the U.S. has banned flights for 30 days. Many movie premieres such as Mulan and the new James Bond film have also been pushed back thanks to the quick spread. No one is immune to the virus, as even Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson caught the bug.

Now Bravo fans everywhere are sending happy thoughts to Cohen who just announced via his Instagram that he too, had tested positive for the COVID-19. The face of the network took to his social media on Friday, March 20th to share with fans that he had not been feeling very well the last couple of days. He had been self-quarantining for the last week, but still did not feel one hundred percent in his health. The host mentioned that he would have liked to push through and run Watch What Happens Live from home but did not feel he had the stamina to do so. The television star announced that he would put a "pin in it" until he was feeling better. Right now, all the Bravo personality is focused on is getting better. Cohen made sure to thank all the medical professionals who are still working hard to combat the pandemic and he urged everyone to heed the warnings and stay at home, check out his full post below:

The startling news comes less than a week after Cohen announced he would be halting live shows of Watch What Happens Live due to the government encouraging social distancing. The late-night talk show became an overnight sensation and revealed the show would be taking "precautionary measures" for both him and his celebrity guests. The news was shared with fans on Friday, March 13 via social media. The message could be viewed on Twitter and Instagram and said that there would be an exception for the episode airing on March 19, as it was already recorded, but that there would be no new episodes right now.

Fans are sadened from the onslaught of news that not only will many of their favorite reality television shows be put on hold like The Real Housewives of New Jersey90 Day Fiancé, and Survivorbut now the virus has hit the king of Bravo himself. Fans and Bravo celebrities alike took to his social media to post messages of hope and positivity as everyone hopes he feels better very soon. Hopefully, Cohen and the rest of the world will be healthy and back in action soon, until then fans will be stuck watching Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen reruns.
