The Locke family, Tyler (Connor Jessup), Kinsey (Emilia Jones), Bode (Jackson Robert Scott) and the family matriarch Nina (Darby Stanchfield) move to Matheson, Massachusetts. After their father is murdered by one of his students, they move to the family home, the Key House.

The youngest son, Bode, starts to explore the home after hearing whispers and finds the first key. He hears a mysterious entity called Echo (Laysla De Oliviera) who urges him to find more keys for her. 7 The Black Door (7.6)
