Star of 90210 Tori Spelling says she can’t be on the The Real Housewives because she’s "too nice." Spelling found her fame on the small screen as Donna Martin on the hit show Beverly Hills 90210, which her father Aaron Spelling produced.
With the holidays just around the corner, the mother of five - Liam, Stella, Hattie, Finn, and Beau - probably needs to focus on getting her shopping done rather than worry about not making the cut for another reality show. Spelling has starred in a number of reality shows, but they've all since been canceled.
Bravo has always looked for fresh blood when it comes to adding new housewives to the franchise, and Spelling would be no exception as she set the record straight on December 13. When asked by Us Weekly if she would consider joining the show, the Beverly Hills 90210 alum laughed and said that she would be “eaten alive” by the other women as she is just "too nice." Spelling wanted to address comments she had made earlier this year about the possibility of joining the Bravo network, saying her words were misinterpreted.
Spelling said that she does not have any intention of joining the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, explaining that all the drama would do hear head in; and as much as she enjoyed watching the hit show on television, she would not want to be a part of it. Back in August, she and her close friend, Jenny McCarthy, were holding an interview in which she said she was a bit sad that her friend Jennie Garth had been approached by Bravo officials regarding a spot on the show, but she wasn't. She joked that she was actually born in Beverly Hills, so she had that in her favor. She also pointed out during the interview that she is married with children and that drama follows her everywhere, but the network still refused to reach out. She then joked with her friend that if she had done the show, having to have a coordinated catfight with the other women would just be too much for her to handle.
As the True Tori star cleared the air, she wanted fans to know that The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is still one of her favorite shows. Spelling said that she is a people pleaser and would have her niceness used against her most likely. So, even though she is a huge fan of the franchise, that does not mean she wants to become an official part of the Real Housewives crew. For the time being, she will sit on her couch and enjoy upcoming episodes like all the other Bravo fans.
