Disney+ Has Two Unannounced MCU Shows In Development, Confirms CEO

Two more Marvel shows are in the works for Disney+, adding to a growing slate of content. It's been a few months since Disney launched its streaming service with exclusive programming like The Mandalorian and the live-action/CGI-hybrid Lady and the Tramp remake, but they've yet to have any major Marvel Cinematic Universe content so far. Fans were treated to an Expanding the Universe featurette that provided some concept art of the upcoming slate of shows and Marvel Hero Project, but that is it.

The MCU will first bring content to Disney+ with The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, which now has been confirmed for an August release and will follow that up with the launch of WandaVision in December. But Marvel Studios is developing multiple other shows for the service. They've got Tom Hiddleston set to headline a Loki series, the fan-favorite comic character Kamala Khan announced to lead Ms. Marvel, and an animated What If?... series in the works.

Those are just a few of the shows they're developing, with HawkeyeShe-Hulk, and Moon Knight also announced, but that isn't all. During Walt Disney Studios' earnings call, CEO Bob Iger confirmed that more are on the way. After discussing the Super Bowl spot highlighting Falcon & Winter SoldierWandaVision, and Loki, he said, "There are seven other Marvel series in various stages of development or pre-production." All in all, Marvel Studios has announced five other shows not featured in the spot, so Iger just revealed that two more are in development.
