On the season 7 finale of 90 Day Fiancé, Michael admitted that he had cheated on his first wife before marrying Juliana. Fans at home are wondering what this means for Michael and Juliana's relationship and if that admission will change anything for their marriage.
The Connecticut playboy met his future wife while on a yacht party in Croatia. Juliana was only 20 years old and worked as a model all over the world. Both claim that there was an instant connection. During the show viewers watched as Juliana’s tourist visa was denied which made them look into the K-1 visa process. Juliana made it to American where she could be with Michael. The Brazilian native became a stepparent to Michael’s two children, Maxwell and CeCe. She also formed a real friendship with Michael’s ex-wife, Sarah. The couple’s biggest argument on the show focused around a prenup but in the end Michael decided not to get one as he believed in the future of their relationship.
During their time on the couch, Juliana opened up to a hurtful secret in which her family back in Brazil no longer speaks to her. The model broke down into tears as she explained she had felt guilty for being in a better financial situation. Even though Juliana had been paying for her family’s house back in Brazil, her family has not reached out to her since she moved to the US. The biggest bombshell of the night, however, is when the host of the Tell-All, Shaun Robinson, asked Michael how his marriage with his ex-wife, Sarah ended.
Sarah referred the question over to her ex-husband who said that he had an emotional affair while they were married. That's when Michael admitted that he had sent "flirtatious" text messages to other women during their marriage, but denied that anything else had happened. Michael acknowledged that it was not one thing specifically that broke up his marriage with Sarah, but more that he was traveling and partying too much in his attempt to escape his marriage. He explained that he did not feel “free" during their relationship and Sarah quickly responded saying she had given him all the freedom in the world to travel and meet who he wants. Fans hearts were melted as both Sarah and Juliana held hands throughout the segment. It was obvious to viewers that the two women had become very close as Juliana admitted that she was her best friend in Connecticut.
Michael's admission to stepping out on his first wife, Sarah, was shocking as fans have never suspected anything negative between Sarah and Michael as they co-parent so well. Even though Juliana claimed that she knew the details of the divorce, she seems a little uncomfortable talking about the emotional affairs Michael had in the past. While the cheating may have only been a one time thing for the 90 Day Fiancé star, fans still can't help to think that history might repeat itself and he could get invovled with other women emotionally.
