Warning: SPOILERS for Venom #21
With news that Marvel's hottest playboy could be settling down, the world needs a new most eligible bachelor to catch the eye of Earth's mightiest heroes. And who better than She-Hulk -- the once overly sexualized character herself -- to declare Marvel's newest sexiest man alive in the pages of Venom #21.
Jennifer Walters has recently reverted to a more savage She-Hulk form, making her act in a more primal manner, similar to her cousin Bruce Banner's more brutal Hulk form. The result is that Jennifer is more open with her thoughts, even if they are delivered in a... direct manner. And after having a thunder-smashing fling with Thor that ended as quickly as it began, She-Hulk has set her eyes on a new hero more brazenly than ever: Eddie Brock. He's so hot right now.
Eddie has gone through a lot lately in the pages of Venom. From becoming a frost giant version of himself during the War of the Realms, recently discovering he has a son, and saving the world from the Absolute Carnage event. Despite the odds, Eddie seemingly killed Carnage to save the world. However, Eddie is the only one who knows he actually unleashed Knull, the symbiote god, who is now headed for Earth. All this progress Eddie has made in redeeming himself and becoming a hero in his own right has caused the Avengers to take notice. When they invite him to Avengers Tower in the Arctic Circle, he is brought in front of the current Avengers roster -- featuring She-Hulk and Captain Marvel.
As Eddie turns down the offer to join the Avengers, the heroes look on in disbelief. Blade and Iron Man stunned Eddie would refuse such an opportunity. She-Hulk in disbelief of how attractive Eddie is when not wrapped up in a symbiote. Ghost Rider in disbelief of what he just heard She-Hulk say, and Captain Marvel in disbelief that Eddie would shave his beard.
Whether She-Hulk will pursue Eddie further or not remains to be seen, and if it will in fact turn into an actual relationship or not. However we can only hope that even if it is a flash in the pan romance, we will get the chance to see a team-up move between She-Hulk and Venom.
