Disney's Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker is the final entry in the Skywalker Saga, the core films of the Star Wars franchise. The saga kicked off with George Lucas' 1977 film starring Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Peter Cushing, and Alec Guinness. The hit space opera was followed by two direct sequels, and a prequel trilogy and a sequel trilogy were added in the decades that followed.
Star Wars focused on a civil war that took place "a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away." At the center of the story was young Luke Skywalker, a moisture farmer from Tatooine. Star Wars: The Last Jedi is currently streaming on Netflix, but it's not available to Amazon Prime or Hulu. On December 26, the 2017 title will move to Disney+ with the preceding Star Wars titles. The Last Jedi can also be rented for $3.99 on Amazon, iTunes, Fandango Now, and Microsoft. Those looking to purchase the HD title can do so for $19.99 on the same platforms with the addition of YouTube and Google Play. The 4K edition can be found to buy on Fandango Now, Vudu, and Microsoft for $24.99.
